Hi, is there a way by turning on off some options to keep separate oem remote and the fristech one? If i unlock the car by the oem remote i dont want the alarm disarm itself in order to keep the firstech remote the only one able to disarm the alarm.

I tried to off option c1 but the firstech remote stop working and i cannot arm disarm the alarm anymore.

Thanks

Turning off C1 would prevent the EVO from sending the OEM remote commands to the CM7000. C1 should not affect the operation of the firstech remote.

What's the service number and what kind of car?

in older topics of q&a you said that even if the cm7000 guide says to use gray port for datalink the black one should be used, i m actually using gray port do i have to change port?

ya, an EVO option should not affect how the CM7000 controls itself from its own remote. Wihtout the evo even connected the cm7000 should be arming/disarming itself from it's own remote without issue. Have you tried that?

The only downside of turning off C1 in that vehicle is that the OEM remote will most likely not be able to unlock the car once it is remote started anymore since it was actually the EVO monitoring the remote and unlocking the car; hence the unlock connection.
you can set the cm7000 to ads, use the black port, and set H2 in the EVO.
This is the guide of cm7000 3.5 version

What do you mean set ads to cm7000? The only option i can change is the protocol for the gray port (Option 4-11) between fortin or drone.
just try black port with h2 enabled on the evo. Could of sworn there used to be an option to switch ads as the bypass module. Maybe im thinking of something else.

last option is to just go wire-to-wire and scrap datalink. EVO will not be able to send oem remotes to firstech if datalink is not even connected.
Thanks i solved the problem, i ve just discovered that c1 is an option that is not possible to change without a master reset, at least for me, otherwise the evo all starts going crazy.
glad you got it! that shouldnt be needed though. Will open a report for you.
