Evo-One on a 2013 Toyota Tacoma has Parking Lights Problem

0 votes

I have an Evo-One with a Compustar RF Kit and I have two issues: 1. When it remote starts, the parking lights come on, the way it's supposed to. When I shut it off with the remote, the parking lights will stay on forever unless I open a door. 2. The parking lights won't flash when I lock and unlock the doors to arm or disarm the alarm (Is there something I'm missing in programming (like stand alone?).

What's the position of the light arm on the car ? If the arm is always on the on position, my suggestion would be to use + park light on the car.

If you want the lights to go off after shutdown use the blue wire on the evoall and connect it to driver door pin. Program option 32 mode 3 which is Dk. blue after shutdown.

Mathieu you are a genius! Everything you have suggested so far has worked for me. I got the light to shut off after shutting down engine with remote by attaching the blue wire to the door trigger. But I didn't understand the first part "What's the position of the light arm on the car"? I'm confused!
