2005 chevy Silverado questions

I just purchased an evo-one to install on a 2005 chevy Silverado in the instructions it looks like a resistor is needed when hooking up the red wire from evo one to red wire on 52 pin connector what size resistor is needed for that

i provided the 12 digit code from an old one because I haven't received the one for the chevy yet

no resistor needed. That is for 12 volts. i think you are looking at the fuse icon in the picture
