2015 Forester (push to start) , shut down immidiately after remote started (after 1 or 2 second), what im missing here?

Very confusing in D1/A10  (cut D3), When to connect and when to cut? and where is the "wire on the wrong side of the cut"?

You are cutting the vehicles IMO wire. 

Once it is cut, you are left with 2 ends; referred to as "connector side" and "car side"

D1/A10 will go on "connector side"

D3 will go on "car side"
