2012 F-150 Programming error after rapid blue light

0 votes
Ok so here is what I did. EVO All with T-harness on 2012 F-150 FX4. I connected CAN HI and CAN LOW as well connected Yellow, Lt Blue and Lt. blue w/black from T-harness to EVO per guide. I do not have anything else wired.  I flashed firmware 71.18 and set all options to OFF except C1, D1 with 15 min runtime. During initial programming after receiving solid blue and inserting key to ON position... blue light begin to flash rapidly but than stops and I get solid yellow. I attempted with both of my OEM keys and received same results.

What am I missing? Please advise .... Thank you,

You NEED to turn on options A1 to A11 to ON

Also options C1 and D1 to ON

Then reprogram.

Yes, that is the FIRST part of programming which covers CAN-BUS, flashing blue then goes to yellow means it programmed CAN-BUS correctly. There is a second part to the programming that programs the transponder code (turn the page).

Also, Leave A1-A11 ON.
