Why does my key not turn on the car after installing wires?

I am installing the stand alone evo-all on my 2013 ford explorer (without push start). I am using install guide # 32131. I connected the yellow/black to yellow, lite blue to lite blue , and lite blue/blackto the lite blue/black  to the 20 pin as well as the other connections to the BCM.  I have all wires connected. When I turn on the first key to start programming I get no power. The car will not start or dash lights will not come on. I have gotten to the point where I connect the 4 pin connector to the unit, release the button when I get the red and blue lights lit, connect the rest of the remaining pig tails. Insert the key and nothing. Then, if I just unplug the four pin connector dash lights come on as well as the key alarm without any key in it. Hardware version is 6, Firmware Vr: 71-18
