What is normal amp draw for evo- all in a 2006 chev cobalt

+1 vote
I have a fortin evo all installed in a 2006 chev cobalt and it seems to be draining the battery. What is the acceptable draw for this bypass? Also is there a fix for this if there is something wrong as it is drawing 30 mAmp?

An EVO ALL will draw about 7mAmp. If you have a 30 mAmp draw you must test for current draw by disconnecting each component of the remote starter system. Let the vehicle go into sleep mode (usually about 15 min ) and start by then metering the current draw. Take that reading and then unplug the bypass, take that reading and then unplug the remote starter and take that reading. By doing it this way you can determine which unit is causing the current drain. Also notice if the red led on the EVO-ALL is staying on, this may indicate that GWR is still activated from the remote starter.
