can i still program with 1 remote

Question

got everything hooked up now I might have another pro blem.....do you have to have both keys to program.  I have tried with 1 and it dosen't start when i hold down the program button like its supposed to.  I have decripted it twice, and unhooked all the wires several times  anyother suggestions?

use firmware 71.44, reset and reprogram

If doing 3xlock start, you will also need to enable options C1 and D1.
