Remote start doesn’t work

+1 vote
I installed a Fortin EVO-ONE with the THAR-HON3 T-harness on a 2016 Honda CR-V Push-to-Start.

The module programs correctly, Dcryptor completed successfully, and CAN functions work (lock/unlock, ignition status).

However, the EVO-ONE never outputs ignition during remote start. I get blue and red LEDs, but no yellow LED, and the vehicle does not enter accessory or ignition mode. The EVO also does not detect the brake pedal (no blue flash), even though the car’s brake system and ignition work normally.

Please somebody help me figure out this problem.

Thank you

Hello,

I would make sure the yellow loop has been cut (automatic transmission) also ensure the unit is not in valet mode (red led on solid underneath the yellow loop).

If neither of those apply I would suggest calling into the tech line with the vehicle and module on hand so an agent can go over the functionality with you.

Hi, can you please tell me how to get out of valet mode?

Thank you!

Hi, just an update. The system was stuck in valet mode (red light under the yellow loop) and for some reason it wouldn’t get out of valet mode. I reflashed the remote start firmware and saved the options again, and after that it finally exited valet mode. Everything works now. Thanks.
