Hi,

i install a Fortin Evo All with a T-Harness. I connect it with the yellow iginiton cable and then with the vehicle.

then in make the install process and the car wont start. On Page 11 is a information about Pin A18 blue/red cable to MUX. But i cant find a cable from the iginiton plug connector who match with the same color.

can you give me a tip for this ??? Which cable must connected ??

Sorry for my bad english :-D

Thanks Stefan

You are looking for the ignition harness. This is where you will do the MUX, ignition, and starter connections. Besides for pin A18, you also have some connections to do from the RED connector of the EVO-ALL.

Your MUX wire is purple/brown.

If there is no starter wire in the main ignition harness, you need to do connection C and not connection F

Hi, Thanks for help.

i dont have a purple/brown cable only a purple cable that is not connected.

when i do 3 x unlock the evo clicked and the light flash. but the engine dont start.
send a picture of the wire you are speaking of and of the connector it is located in, to support@ifar.ca or post it here. Have a feeling you may just be looking in the wrong place. It's the same connector that you have to do the 12V, ignition and starter connections.

Worst case, you can also always simply test the wire. You need a multimeter. The wire will test between 0-5Vdc and be a different reading depending on which position your key is in the barrel.

i dont have a purple/brown cable only a purple cable that is not connected.

You are not looking at the right place, the Purple/Brown (MUX wire) Robert is talking about is on the vehicle's ignition harness, not the Evo-All T-harness.

Looking at the ignition switch 5 pin connector,  If there is NO wire between the Light Blue/ Red 12v and the Pink/Light Green you should follow Connection C

If there is a wire which should be Pink / Orange (Start wire) then follow Connection F, you also do the modification to the wires in the Red relay connector.

Here are the photos from the Harness and the ignition

you are looking at the wrong connector.

There are 4 or 5 physical connections you need to do that go from the EVO-ALL to the Vehicle that are not part of the Tharness.

Look at your first picture, you can see the connector with the purple/brown wire in the top left corner of the picture. The connector you are showing is the transponder connector that the EVO-ALL Tharness connects too. You want that other connector for the physical connections.

Your second picture is showing the Tharness that comes with the EVO-ALL. That is not the vehicles main ignition harness.

that one

Okay i Need F or???

Yes, you should be doing connection F. Also, it looks like the Purple/Brown is actually Purple/Black or  Purple/Dark Brown on your vehicle. Maybe it's just my eyes.
okay, and then i connect the purple/brown with the green/red from the harness ??
Yes, and also the connections for STARTER, IGNITION and 12V Battery on the red 6 pin connector on the EVO-ALL as shown in the picture I had posted above.

I do not look through. but I'm not doing all connections to your T-Harness or? the red plug for example the white / red is for starters. which cable color is it then the t-Harness? and i must cut wires from the ignition switch ?? I am overwhelmed with electrics angel can someone post a Photo from the ready cable??

Take a good look and pay attention to the diagram. If it gets overwhelming, please have the system installed by a professional.

You are doing connections from the red connector on the evo-all to the vehicle, and also that mysterious MUX wire you were looking for.
A proffesional is hard to find Here in Germany no one Knows fortin :-(  again to understand, I have to disconnect some cables from the ignition Switch and reconnect the red cable ??? Is there also Plug & Play cable ???

Unfortunately because of the year of your vehicle you will need to do the extra connections as I noted in the diagram I posted earlier.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO DISCONNECT ANYTHING FROM THE VEHICLE'S IGNITION SWITCH

Follow these steps:

1.  locate Yellow/Red wire in the RED 6 pin connector ON THE EVO ALL unit T-harness.

2. Cut this wire, Isolate with tape the yellow/red wire connected to T-harness side.

3. Extend the other side of the yellow/red wire from the red 6 pin connector of the Evo-All and CONNECT it to the Ignition wire PINK/LIGHT GREEN on the vehicle's 5 pin ignition switch connector

4. Locate White/Red wire from the red 6 pin connector fo the Evo-All and CONNECT it to the Starter wire PINK/ORANGE on the vehicle's 5 pin ignition switch connector.

5. Locate White/Blue wire from the red 6 pin connector fo the Evo-All and CONNECT it to the 12V Battery wire LIght Blue/Red on the vehicle's 5 pin ignition switch connector.

6. Locate Green/Red wire from the white 20 pin connector of the Evo-All and CONNECT it to the Purple/Brown wire on the vehicle's 5 pin ignition switch connector.

7. PROGRAM EVO-ALL  as per intructions in guide.

8. Test functions and enjoy.
