2013 Spark, no immobilizer at column, EVO-ALL will not program

2013 Spark with no options, plain black key. Using EVO-ALL & Chevrolet Spark (2013-2014) intallation guide. There is no IMMO harness to connect to in the column. Conn. D White/Green wire is connected to Conn. A Red/Blue wire. Conn. A Lt. Blue/Black wire and Conn. D White/Red wire are not connected.

EVO-ALL will not program. The yellow and red LEDs stay on. Vehicle starts and runs with the key.

First time i hear that. There`s nothing stamped on the metal shaft of the key?

If you use the BLUE programming method instead, the unit should still program properly off the Can-Bus so that the Passlock system can get bypassed.

 

To program Can-Bus only, do these steps:

1. Hold down programming button while plugging in the datalink connector and let go when the LED is BLUE
2. Plug in the rest of the connectors in the EVO
3. Put the key in the barrel and turn the ignition ON.
4. The BLUE LED should be flashing at this moment
5. Turn ignition OFF, remove the key from the barrel and test your remote starter.

If this is the case for some of these vehicles, I will ask to add a diferent configuration in the installation guide.

This was my error. The vehicle is now wired exactly as shown on the installation guide and the RS is working. Immobilizer is present, I just failed to find it until after I spoke with tech support this morning.
