2011 G37x - pins not fitting in BCM connector?

0 votes
My car starts up just fine remotely, however, if it times out, the doors don't lock because the lock pin isn't connected. However, when I try to insert the lock pin into the connector, it seems to not want to go in all the way. I cannot figure out how to insert it for the life of me.

Pull the locking tab on the vehicles bcm connector. Should be a white piece of plastic on the long side of the connector. you will be able to insert the pins properly afterwards. Once inserted, close the locking tab

Okay, I've done this, and the pins go in just fine, and fit all the way through. However, the car still doesn't lock when it either times out or is turned off remotely. The service number is 001A06 905405.
The options in the unit that would force relock are not even enabled. Option D2 and D5 both relock after sstart

You could also just disable ignition controlled unlock on the car. Should be in the owners manual on how to disable it. That's what causing the car to unlock on shut down.
Is there any way to enable those options?
Options are setup through the flash link updater. If you do not have the programming tool, contact whom it was purchased from.
